Installation Guide (ZIP Upload Method)

This guide walks you through installing NxGen Addons using the standard WordPress ZIP upload method. This is the recommended installation process for most users.

If you purchased NxGen Addons from our official website, you should have received a downloadable .zip file. Do not unzip this file before uploading it to WordPress.

Before You Begin #

Make sure the following requirements are met:

• WordPress is installed and accessible
• Elementor is installed and activated
• You have administrator access to your WordPress dashboard
• You have downloaded the NxGen Addons plugin ZIP file

If Elementor is not installed yet, install and activate it first before proceeding.

Step 1: Log Into Your WordPress Dashboard #

Navigate to:

yourdomain.com/wp-admin

Enter your login credentials and access your dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to the Plugin Upload Screen #

From the left-hand sidebar:

1. Click Plugins
2. Click Add New
3. Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page

You should now see the plugin upload interface.

Step 3: Upload the NxGen Addons ZIP File #

1. Click Choose File
2. Select the NxGen Addons .zip file from your computer
3. Click Install Now

WordPress will upload and install the plugin automatically.

Do not upload an extracted folder. The file must remain in .zip format.

Step 4: Activate the Plugin #

Once installation completes:

Click Activate Plugin

NxGen Addons will now be installed and activated on your site.

Step 5: Confirm Installation #

After activation:

1. Look for NxGen Addons in your WordPress admin sidebar
2. Navigate to the plugin settings page
3. Confirm that the plugin version is displayed correctly

If you do not see the plugin in the sidebar, refresh the page once and check again.

Common Installation Issues #

“The package could not be installed.” #

This usually happens when:

• The file was unzipped before upload
• The wrong file was downloaded
• The upload exceeded your server’s file size limit

If your server upload limit is too low, contact your hosting provider or increase the upload_max_filesize setting in your PHP configuration.

Elementor Not Detected #

NxGen Addons requires Elementor to function. If Elementor is not active, you may see a dependency warning.

Install and activate Elementor first, then return to NxGen Addons.
